About You

We are looking for an analytical mind to push how trade marketing can better serve our platform partners in growing their business with us. With your rigorous data-driven analysis skills, strong business and marketing intuition & judgment, you will work closely with the regional & country teams to design, launch, and monitor various marketing campaigns with regards to their success metrics.

You are expected to produce post-campaign quantitative results analyses, distilling them into key actionable business insights and recommendations. By keeping abreast of what is happening in each market (MY, ID, TH), you will become Carsome’s expert on how trade marketing can tactically help fuel sales growth on a regional basis.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Lead the regional monthly, quarterly, and yearly internal cost compiling and reporting process by partnering with Country & Finance teams to accurately track each campaign dollar spent.
  • Work alongside Country teams to forecast the financial budgets for upcoming campaigns, working closely with our Accounting & Finance teams to ensure the initiatives are accurately reflected in the right manner in our financial accounts.
  • Evaluate the success of campaign initiatives through an objective framework, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Develop user requirements for new trade marketing Tableau dashboards where necessary and work closely with Data team to ensure successful delivery of said dashboards.
  • Develop a “living” library of campaign mechanics that Country teams can use to drive supply or demand metrics.
  • Work alongside Insights & Country teams to gather information on local competitors, specifically on loyalty developments around the region, providing commentary, analysis and recommendations where appropriate.
  • Support the development of the regional roadmap for the launch of strategic trade marketing initiatives, working with Product, Data and Country teams to ensure their timely and successful launch.
  • Support the regional and country trade marketing teams throughout the development, planning and post-launch monitoring of all campaign programs.

Your Know-How

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Marketing or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in analytical & commercial roles related to business planning, and/or marketing
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office products (Excel & Powerpoint) or Google Workspace equivalent (Google Sheets & Google Slides), and data visualization tools (Tableau)
  • Comfortable working in multi-cultural, fast-paced environments
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision, and move forward with ways on how to do things effectively and efficiently
  • Hands on and get things done attitude: be ready to manage constantly developing requirements
  • Highly analytical with strong critical thinking skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate complex data concepts and reasoning in ways that business teams, senior management and the organisation will understand
  • Strong stakeholder & project management – you will need to be able to be persuasive and trusted by all levels.
