About You
You will be responsible to minimize the financial risk of product offerings to customers. Manage the process of recovering the asset in the event that the customer defaults on their payments. Establish repayment plans and by ensuring that the recovery process is carried out in a legal and ethical manner. Maintain positive relationships between the company and its customers to build trust and loyalty for the long-term success in the company.
Your Day-to-Day
- Contact customers who have missed payments in recovery stage to discuss the reasons for the missed payments and to establish a repayment plan.
- Conduct regular follow-up calls, SMS, WhatsApp, and email. Review of field visit when necessary.
- Adherence to financial regulations on debt collections.
- Issue statutory notices to ensure that customers are staying on track with their repayment plans.
- Responsible for managing the process of recovering assets that have been financed through repossession management. Ensure that the customer's payments are made on time and in full, and to take appropriate action in the event that payments are missed or defaulted on including issuance of legal action.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, solicitors, repossession agents, auction houses, and debt collections agency to ensure that the recovery process is carried out effectively and efficiently.
- Handle end to end remarketing process including inspection of repossessed vehicles and document filing for JPJ transfer.
Your Know-How
- Education: Min SPM and at least a STPM/ Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
- Job Related Experience: More than 3 years’ experience in recruitment, including experience in stakeholder management.
- Specific Knowledge / Skills: Credit collection, litigation, Strong leadership, Litigation & computer literate.
- Business Understanding: Full knowledge of Credit Collection/ Credit control, Hire Purchase Act.
