About You

Data Project Manager under the Data Department will be responsible to manage projects starting from initialisation to completion to ensure delivery timelines are met. You will be closely working with 4 Internal Teams in Data and other business functions such as Product, Technology, Operations and Finance.

This is an interesting position as the Project Manager will get an opportunity to be involved with smart tech/data/business minds in APAC and will also work on projects which use cutting edge technology stack in the market.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Conduct Daily and Weekly Stand Ups understand work of the day/week and include ad-hoc urgent tasks that could come up due to business urgency.
  • Triage and Prioritise deliverables for Internal Teams in Data.
  • Requirement understanding and gathering: Collect and document requirements and communicate timelines.
  • Be PIC for data team on understanding & documentation of workflows of different Carsome Products and different Operations Team in different countries.
  • Be responsible for alignment of metric definitions across organisation and document Global Data Dictionary
  • Raise and follow up on delivery timelines from upstream for dependencies.
  • Efficiency & Planning: Produce a work efficiency report of internal teams to measure time and velocity so that resource allocation on projects can be managed effectively.
  • Implement Project Management methodologies ex. conduct sprint planning, retrospective etc.
  • Provide Periodic status update to Line Manager and stakeholders.

Your Know-How

  • 2-3 years in Project Management Role or relevant experience in collaborating with different stakeholders for deliverables.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in one or more of the following methods - project planning, stakeholder management, champion documentation.
  • Ability to distil, cater, and communicate complex requirements and insights to senior leaders, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong abilities to lead projects, independently resolve complex issues and articulate MOM/findings to various teams.
  • PMP or IT Project Management Certification (good to have, but not mandatory)
  • Experience using Jira (good to have)
  • Bachelors in CS/IT (other degrees can also be considered)
