About You

Assist in the Gl reporting and ensure day-to-day operations of overall accounting and financial activities are execute effectively and efficiently.

Your Day-to-Day

  • To lead and manage month end closing for timely and accurate monthly financial reports.
  • To ensure monthly financial reports are analysed for Manager/Senior Manager review, highlights if there is any remedial action that is required.
  • To organize work schedules and setting priorities in order to meet critical deadlines.
  • To review and ensure all journal postings, reconciliations and relevant schedules done by team members are correct and accurate in accounting system.
  • To plan, delegate and monitor daily deliverables of team members and provide assistance and guidance when required.
  • To continually monitor and review current practices and procedure, where necessary make recommendation in respect of enhancements.
  • To liaise with team ensuring proper recording of information & financial data for Malaysia operations and ensure team member adhering to accounting standard, company policies and regulations.
  • To assist in company secretarial matters, statutory audit and taxation adhering to company policies and regulations.
  • To perform other ad-hoc accounting / finance related duties or tasks as assigned by immediate superiors from time to time.

Your Know-How

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in GL reporting.
  • Relevant working knowledge on accounting system.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Basic degree of computer literacy, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
