Your Day-to-Day

  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities; ensure all closing procedures are completed.

  • Verify and approve seller payment requests, and monitor bounced payments. Maintain a tracker of rejections.

  • Verify bank top-ups by sellers and approve via the transactional control (TC) process.

  • Prepare seller payment bank reconciliations, and post related transactions (e.g. bank charges) in the ERP system.

  • Prepare trade creditor aging reports; assist in clearing long outstanding items.

  • Manually create purchase transactions and car repairs expense entries in ERP.

  • Assist with stock take at month end where needed.

  • Support audit and tax queries by preparing required schedules and documents.

  • Perform other accounting / finance tasks as assigned by leadership.


Your Know-How

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent field.

  • Experience: 1 year working in accounts payable or related accounting function.

  • Technical skills:
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
    • Basic computer literacy and ability to pick up ERP navigation quickly

  • Accounting knowledge:
    • Basic understanding of accounting treatment, journals, accruals, etc.
    • Familiarity with standard accounts payable processes and controls
