Your Day-To-Day:
Advanced Documentation & Reporting:
- Prepare and manage detailed project documentation, including comprehensive project plans, progress reports, risk assessments, and decision logs.
- Present project updates to senior management and key stakeholders, providing insights on risks, resource allocation, and overall project health.
- Drive the development of KPIs and metrics to assess project performance, providing data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with various departments to gather in-depth project requirements, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration across teams, managing stakeholders at all levels, from front-line staff to senior management.
- Lead project meetings and drive decision-making, addressing challenges and bottlenecks proactively.
Process Optimization:
- Identify inefficiencies and implement innovative solutions within the inventory and logistics processes, driving operational excellence.
- Lead the adoption and integration of cutting-edge tools, methodologies, and technologies to enhance project management capabilities.
- Act as a champion for continuous improvement, fostering a culture of efficiency and accountability across teams.
Risk & Resource Management:
- Identify and evaluate project risks and opportunities, developing contingency plans and risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure optimal resource allocation and utilization across projects, balancing capacity with project demands.
- Lead post-project reviews, capturing lessons learned and integrating them into future projects.
Project Leadership:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of small to medium scale projects related to inventory management, logistics, and supply chain operations.
- Oversee project scope, objectives, and timelines, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic initiatives.
- Take ownership of project deliverables, ensuring deadlines are met and standards of quality are maintained.
Stakeholder Management:
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring their expectations are aligned with project outcomes.
- Prepare and facilitate project status meetings, making sure all relevant parties are kept informed and aligned.
- Handle conflict resolution and mitigate risks that may impact stakeholder satisfaction and project success.
Your Know How:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field or equivalent.
- 2-4 years of experience in project management, logistics, supply chain management, or a related area.
- Proven track record of leading/assisting complex projects and successfully managing cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in using data to drive decision-making and improve processes.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to various audiences.
- Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.
