About the Role

We’re looking for a Group Risk Manager who’s ready to build and lead risk management practices in a high-growth, fast-evolving environment. At CARSOME, we’re preparing for IPO and scaling our operations across the region — which means we need someone who’s not only skilled in Enterprise and Operational Risk Management (ERM & ORM), but also thrives on building structure in motion.

This role is more than governance — it’s about collaborating across functions, influencing change, and embedding risk awareness into how we grow. You’ll work closely with the Risk Committee and Group Internal Audit (GIA), with direct visibility at the Management and Board level.

If you're a builder with risk experience and want to shape something meaningful at scale — this is your platform.

Day-to-Day

  • Design, implement, and maintain ERM and ORM frameworks, tools, and group-wide governance policies.
  • Lead enterprise-level risk identification and mitigation planning across business units and functions.
  • Present risk assessments and reports to Management and Board-level committees, including key risk dashboards and insights.
  • Establish and track Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and drive action based on early warnings.
  • Collaborate closely with GIA to align on risk priorities, control effectiveness, and assurance reporting.
  • Facilitate risk workshops, build documentation, and create structure where it's lacking.
  • Promote a strong risk-aware culture by engaging business leaders and frontline teams.
  • Support internal/external audit and regulatory requirements relating to risk and governance.

Your-Know-How

  • 5–8 years of experience in risk management, audit, or governance — ideally in fast-scaling or regulated industries.
  • Strong understanding of risk frameworks and governance principles (ERM, ORM, ISO 31000, COSO, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience building or refining risk processes — not just maintaining them.
  • Skilled in cross-functional communication and stakeholder influence, including senior leadership.
  • Comfortable working in high-growth, ambiguous, and fast-changing environments.
  • Bonus: Experience in IPO readiness, internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR), or regional exposure.
